Worn Out and Satisfied

An amazing day of windsurfing. Used 6.0 on the Kombat all day. Started at 8am. Stopped at 4pm. Wait! The wind is picking up! I'll be back to finish this later. One more session is in order.

Okay. Now I'm done. Heading back South tonite. Haven't seen my grandpa in a while. Looks like Gene and Judes hotdogs for me.

I'm checking the wind at Anclam Park, and someone rides up and their bike and gives me a staredown. I walk over to see what's up. It's John, a windsurfer from back home, on his bike ride. It's a small world. We'll catch a session together this afternoon when the wind hits hard.

Took a stroll while waiting for someplace to open for breakfast. The wind is starting to pick up. I think I'm going to go out on the X-Fire 145 with a 9.5 before the wind picks up too much. Breakfast first though.

I checked out Point Beach State Park for possible launch spots. There are two good launches.

This place must kill when the wind picks up. The wind was about 15mph today but the waves were already getting rough. There was no way I was taking out the 9.5 in those waves. Instead, I rigged a 6.0 on the Kombat. Not enough wind to get planing, but enough to hold my ground in the waves.
