Hatteras Vacation: May 20-27, 2006
The wind was blowing when we rolled into town, and it didn't stop until we left. We spent very little time taking pictures and lots of time having fun.

Session Report: May 9, 2006
This morning I took a final exam and then headed to the lake to release some stress. I launched from the West Side Access. I really liked the launch. I was sailing super long reaches on a South wind. I sailed the Nova with a 7.5 and the new 70cm fin. I should have switched the fin back to the stock fin so I could really feel the difference. I didn’t think of that until now. This may have been the best day I’ve had on the Nova.
Reid showed up about 45 minutes after I hit the water. He got some photos to use for the website and then suited up to take the Nova for a spin. After he had enough abuse, I went out for some more runs. The sun popped out and the winds were getting a little crazy for a 7.5, so I packed it up for the day(4:30pm). I didn’t want to rig another sail that late in the day and I thought it would be nice to have dinner with the family. Below are the pictures that Reid took.
