Session Report: Wednesday June 21,2006
Jen, Michael, and I arrived at the lake just after 2:00pm. The “good stuff” had just ended and Chris was already off the water. Reid was in the cove attempting to waterstart Chris’s board with a 5.7 with little luck. The wind had crapped out. After seeing Reid struggle with the 5.7, I decided to rig my 7.5 on the kombat. I rigged a 5.7 on the Nova for Jen. Michael opted to play in the water with his boogie board with some other children.
I took off and headed for the main pool. It took forever to get up there. Once I got up there, I had many excellent rides. I completed several jibes on port and starboard. I could have sailed till sunset if I didn’t have to drive to Kentucky the same day (That’s where I am now). The new North 7.5 works perfectly on the Kombat. It has a good range. I go straight from the 7.5 to 5.7.
Jen got in a lot of practice, and from looking at the pictures Reid took, she is doing pretty well.
