Session Report: November 15, 2007
I sailed a 6.0 on the Quatro 120 for two hours. Had to flatten out the 6.0 with full outhaul as the wind picked up significantly within the first half hour. The first time I went out, I was wearing a helmet and face mask. After the first run across the lake, my head was freezing. It hurt so bad I didn't want to sail back. I endured the pain of 10,000 ice cream headaches as I sailed back across the lake. I dumped my gear on the beach and headed to the trailer to trade in my helmet for a hood. All was good after that. At 11:00 I came in and packed up.
Session Report: November 11, 2007
I sailed the Pacer with 9.5 from 11:30 until 1:30 when the wind died off. I got to the lake around 10:30 and rigged up, but the wind was around 8mph. I waited around until 11:30 and finally decided to hit the water despite the light wind. About 5 minutes later the wind picked up and I was getting some really good rides. Around 1:30 the wind died off.
